Jacquelyn Frank has created a very detailed and complex world with this first book in her Nightwalkers Series. I needed this fun and entertaining book!

Then the author’s writing started driving me crazy!!! Nor were the overwhelming feelings she arouses in him. I liked the audio a bit better to be honest. It means that I had no idea that books went into such graphic detail when it came to sex scenes. I don’t think I would have enjoyed it half as much if I wasn’t listening to her read it. The attraction between the two is immediate, he cannot let her go.

Being an immortal Demon does have it’s drawbacks and it’s up to Jacob as The Enforcer to make sure that things go as they should and if a law is broken he is the one to track down and punish the guilty party. Jacob has strict code of ethics though and self uacob that puts the strongest Demon to shame.

They are destined to be mates! Deliciously sensual ground shaking love and Demons like you have never seen before encompass this book with an elemental frenzy. And the Demons are not bad guys! So the first book in the Nightwalker series is just plain good. The Enforcer for his people, it is his job to uphold the ancient law that forbids demons to mate humans.

I didn’t like this book. A job that leaves him isolated and very lonely.

Now, as I understand it, women always regret ever letting a man touch them on that day. I also loved Bella’s character. So, yeah, ms Jacquelyn Frank, you have a fan in me. Deliciously sensual ground shaking love and Demons like you have never seen before encompass jacov book with an elemental frenzy.

How To Swap Books? Is it me or does that sound like something that needs checking into. But the moment he holds her in his arms and feels the soft explosion of her body against his, everything changes. Rationally, I can recognize the absurdity of a plot where a librarian accidentally finds herself jaccob out a window, killing a demon, and being swept away to a castle where, given immediate access to the ancient archive of demon scrolls and texts, she is suddenly able to read Demonese and interpret the great prophecy the king has been laboring over.

This writing style impedes the flow of the story, for me. There was a lot of explaining, a lot of setup, an introduction to the world and all of it’s subsequent book’s characters. It doesn’t inspire me to build shrines and write poetry and become genrally obsessed, not that I do that of course!

Of course, all is nightwalkerx as it seems and some very interesting twists occur. Isabella literally falls from a window for Jacob. Throw in some horrible necromancers with some surprised friends of Jacob and their attraction. I’ll definitely be listening to her narration again.

Jacob (Nightwalkers, #1) by Jacquelyn Frank (5 star ratings)

Yes I am kidding. You are commenting using your WordPress. The world building was complete and the characters fully developed. Can’t wait for Noah!
